Marianne Lauritzen started working at the Cancer Registry of Norway in 2006. She works with coordination of research projects in the Janus serum bank, research administration and laboratory work. Lauritzen graduated as a chemical engineer with biotechnology from Oslo College of Engineering (1992). She also holds a master's degree in biomedicine from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (2014). The title of the master's thesis was "The Quality and Quantity of miRNAs in Samples from Janus Serum Bank".
