Background
Tom Nilsen started at the Cancer Registry of Norway (Kreftregisteret) in 2022, where he belongs to the Section for Administration and Research Support.
His main tasks primarily involve research administration and research support related to HPV-related research. He participates in the Communication Committee, where he is responsible for updating the research department's project web pages and organizing and conducting the HPV CANCEL forum.
Tom holds a master's degree in sports medicine from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. His master's thesis focused on the relationship between physical activity and cardiometabolic health. He has previously worked in a clinic for patients with severe obesity and as a project coordinator for other public health-related projects.
