Sophie Berger startet in the Cancer Registry of Norway in 2004. Today she is head of the Section for Administration and Research Support, which currently consists of 17 employees. The section contributes with research administration, project support, data processing and analyses in research projects at the Research Department. The section develops tools and facilitates effective research of high quality.
Sophie is a Biomedical Laboratory Scientist and has a master's degree in Health Sciences. She has worked at the Cancer Registry of Norway since 2004 as a project coordinator and advisor. In the period 2009-2022, she has primarily worked with externally funded research projects related to HPV vaccination and prevention of cervical cancer at the Research Department. From 2017-2022, she has been the unit leader.
