Siri Larønningen started as a medical coder in the Cancer Registry of Norway in 2004, has worked with data delivery and has been head of the Registry Section.
She has also been head of the data input unit at the Cancer Registry, where the main focus is to help ensure that the Cancer Registry receives information from all relevant sources in the most appropriate way possible.
In 2019, the Cancer Registry of Norway took over responsibility for the sectariat for the Association of the Nordic Cancer Registries - NORDCAN. Larønningen has a central role in this work.
Background
Larønningen holds a Cand.Scient degree from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, majoring in sports sociology on the topic "The newspaper media's representation of sexual harassment and sexual assault in sport".
She also has a one-year course in computer science.
