Niki Marjerrison

Niki Marjerrison started as a PhD student on the firefighter project in January 2020. She is investigating cancer risk among firefighters and the possible association with exposures to wildfire smoke and diesel exhaust, with a focus on, among other things, cancer of the urinary tract. Her research interests include modifiable risk factors and public health. Niki holds a master's degree in International Community Health from the University of Oslo (2018), focusing on epidemiology, cardiovascular disease, and immigrant health. She holds a Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, Canada (2014).
