Since March 2022, Mona Nilsson has worked as a PhD candidate at the Cancer Registry of Norway in a project on patient-reported data, which deals with quality of life after prostate cancer. The project involves the management of patient-reported data, as well as the development of online tools.
Background
Nilsson holds a Master's degree in sports science from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Nursing from Lovisenberg Diaconal University College. Her master's thesis was about Physical activity and cancer-related fatigue.
She has for several years worked with the rehabilitation of cancer patients at Haukeland University Hospital, and participated in the project "Early rehabilitation of cancer patients".
