Professor Sue Moss

Professor Sue Moss is an epidemiologist who has worked for over 30 years in the field of evaluation of cancer screening. Much of her work has focused on the evaluation of breast cancer screening, both in conducting and analysing screening trials, and in the monitoring and evaluation of service screening. She is the PI for the UK randomized trial of breast screening in young women. She is also undertaking research on cervical screening and screening for bowel and prostate cancer

She is now based at the Centre for Cancer Prevention in the Wolfson Institute, Queen Mary University of London.

Previously she was based at the Institute of Cancer Research, where from 1995 to 2011 she was Acting/Associate Director of the Cancer Screening Evaluation Unit. She also spent a year as a Research Fellow, International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyon working on studies of the natural history of cancer in relation to screening.
