The Association of the Nordic Cancer Registries (ANCR) is composed of the national cancer registries in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Faroe Islands and Norway.
This year the Cancer Registry of Norway will be hosting the Annual Symposium

The main topics are:
- Cancer biology and etiological research
- New concepts of causality, methodological developments, and use of cancer registry data
In addition, we look forward to receiving abstracts online for the following topics:
- Clinical epidemiology and use of clinical registries
- Cancer screening programmes and screening related research
- Cancer survival and survivorship
Guidelines for Preparation of Abstracts for oral or poster presentation:
Abstracts should be submitted in English which will be the official language of the symposium. Please state whether the abstract is an oral or poster presentation. The authors and co-authors names and place of work (institution and city) should be stated. Degrees, titles and acknowledgements should be omitted. Please ensure that the title of the abstract clearly indicates the content. Abbreviations may only be used in the text if they are defined when used first. To provide maximum information in the abstract please include; Background, Material & Methods, Results and Conclusions. The abstract may not exceed 400 words.
Oral presentations will be allocated 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. A poster session will be organized where the authors have 2 minutes for a brief description of the poster plus 3 minutes for questions and comments.
